Van Jones of Green for All and the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights was the recent recipient of a Millenium Award from Global Green for Community Environmental Leadership. The Millennium Awards were designed to honor individuals and organizations who recognize the important connection between humankind and nature, and inspire others to make such exceptional behavior the norm. Van also appeared on Chicago Tonight where he identified some key issues with a particular focus on some of the specific work Chicago is doing to create green jobs.

Sweet Beginnings, LLC works to provide green pathways out of poverty for ex-offenders by developing "Green Collar" jobs through it's beeline enterprise.
